This is because the\u003cgwmw\u003eairbox air\u003c\/gwmw\u003efeed is placed directly above a very hot source of heat - the radiator. This led Forge Motorsport to design and relocate where the air filter\/\u003cgwmw\u003eairbox\u003c\/gwmw\u003e\u003cgwmw\u003eis housed\u003c\/gwmw\u003ein the engine bay. The Forge cold air intake system now cleverly draws air from within the Suzuki Swifts front bumper keeping the intake temperatures extra cool in any climate.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eAfter extensive testing, Forge Motorsport found that Forge Motorsport's carbon\u003cgwmw\u003efibre\u003c\/gwmw\u003ecanister filters worked the best. The filter element itself is provided by\u003cu\u003ePipercross\u003c\/u\u003e, and is fully serviceable or replaceable if necessary. A replacement can be foundhere. The\u003cgwmw\u003epipe work\u003c\/gwmw\u003eof the kit runs around the cold side of the engine and away from the\u003cgwmw\u003eengines\u003c\/gwmw\u003eturbo manifold; this again is to keep intake temperatures down as low as possible. In total, Forge Motorsport observed intake temperatures fall from 39°C down to 26°C. These numbers will come down further still with the addition of Forge Motorsport's\u003cgwmw\u003eintercooler\u003c\/gwmw\u003eupgrade.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe\u003cgwmw\u003eForge High\u003c\/gwmw\u003eFlow\u003cgwmw\u003eairbox\u003c\/gwmw\u003eproduced an impressive\u003cstrong\u003eincrease of over 8BHP at 5500RPM and a gain of\u003cgwmw\u003etoruqe\u003c\/gwmw\u003ethroughout the entire rev range\u003c\/strong\u003eon independent dyno testing.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe design of this kit has also introduced some excitement to the driving experience with a subtle yet\u003cgwmw\u003echaracterful induction roar\u003c\/gwmw\u003ewhen on harder acceleration.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eYou will be very happy with the visual impact of the kit upon opening the bonnet.
