This is a piston design bypass valve that is adirect replacementfor the original fitment. This valve givesgreater longevitythan the diaphragm (OEM) valves but also benefits from its ability to be fitted with different springs when the boost pressure has been increased or the engine has been modified.
Please note that if your vehicle has the valve show in Figure 1 then this valve will fit your application, however the valve shown in figure 2 will not be compatible with the Forge valve. Forge Motorsport has seen this change on vehicles that are produced post 2016 so please make sure to check before you purchase your Forge valve.
*To avoid the possibility of a P0101 trouble code, the ECM must be reprogrammed with a tune optimised for atmospheric discharge.
