The Forge MotorsportFMTUBL15has been designed specifically for theRenault Megane Mk2 & Mk3 R.Srange stock turbo chargers. This turbo blanket replaces the primitive OE heat shield and is designed to furtherisolate the radiant heat produced by the turbocharger.The Forge turbo blanket also incorporates further protection to the engines down pipe.
This design has been created towithstand the harshest of environmentsand proven to withstand temperatures up to 1370°C (2500°F) of radiant heat, which will assist in protecting andprolonging the life of engine components.
Design innovation keeps the heat of the exhaust gases contained within the hot side of the turbocharger, away from the cool side and the intake path which helpsreduce turbo lag and air intake temperaturesresulting in more power.
